The Roman Bath in Bath, United Kingdom so fascinated me that I took pictures from every angle – from the ground level and the 2nd floor.

It is beautiful. Why is the water so green?

It’s the algae in the water.

I didn’t get the chance to go to a functional bath, only the museum.

Dee, I’m excited that you shared these. I saw these many years ago and really loved Bath as a whole.

This place is on my wish list and looks fabulous in your photos! Is there a functional bath as well and is it a reconstruction or an original part of the Roman baths? Fascinating, thanks for sharing!

There is a functional bath which is not part of the museum. The whole complex is a restoration of the Roman baths.
