Snapshot: The Folly at Chatham Manor

I was reminded of my favorite show Downton Abbey when I saw this folly at Chatham Manor in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The statue inside the temple-like structure is that of a muse holding a musical instrument.

The folly somewhat resembles the Temple of Diana in the grounds of Downton Abbey. It serves its purpose well in Chatham Manor’s gardens. It enhances the view and catches attention.
