Le Parc Brasserie, 16 Avenue de la Gare 65100 Lourdes, France
We had dinner at Le Parc Brasserie on our last night in Lourdes. It is conveniently located on site of Best Western Beausejour, our hotel. It is literally across the train station. The Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes is about 10 minutes away from the restaurant. It sits on a pretty good location in the village of Lourdes.
Decór and Atmosphere: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
The decor at Le Parc is a bit on the formal side with its white table cloths and napkins, crystal glasses, and white china. The water is served in an elegant bottle placed on a saucer. How’s that for formal! We were not intimidated though as it felt cozy and warm at the same time. A splash of color on the table, like a bunch of flowers would have added a bit of fun on the ambience, but that’s just me.
Wait Time: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
Service at Le Parc was prompt. We did not wait long for our orders to be taken and our drinks to be served. It took two servers to get our orders as one did not know any English and we do not know any French save from bonjour and merci. Our food arrived in good time and we got enjoy French prepared food from Le Parc’s menu.
Quantity and Quality of Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
The amount of food on each plate served was surprisingly just right. They weren’t too much nor too little, and they were all attractively prepared. I loved my ravioli with mushrooms and garden salad. My dessert was triple chocolate mouse and it was delightful! We had no complaints.
We thought the prices at Le Parc were reasonable. I always compared how much we would have paid were we eating out in the United States. If the price was about the same, then we were okay with paying the amount with no regrets. The ingredients were fresh and we could tell the food were prepared with care, definitely good value for our money.
Type of Payment: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
