A Glimpse of Valencia, Spain

València is the 3rd largest metropolitan area in Spain. It is the capital of the autonomous community of València.

Originally founded as a Roman colony in 138 BC, it is now known to harmoniously combine the past and and the new millennium with its innovative and avant-garde edifices.

Valencia is known internationally for the Valencian paella, a rice dish, and Las Fallas, a traditional celebration in commemoration of Saint Joseph in which monuments are burnt.

My family spent a few hours in Valencia last March, and we enjoyed those few hours. Hopefully, we’ll get the chance to stay longer next time.
