La Tasca de Ventura, Calle Rodriguez, 9, 28008, Madrid, Spain
While in search for food on our way to Plaza de España in Madrid, we spotted La Tasca de Ventura among the rows of restaurants in Calle Rodriguez. We wanted Spanish food and the name sounded Spanish, so we all decided it is a good choice.
The restaurant is in prime location close to Plaza España,a major tourist attraction, and Via Grande, a popular shopping street. It is about 5 minutes walk from the Plaza España Metro. La Tasca de Ventura sits at a prime location in Madrid’s city center.
Decór and Atmosphere: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
I love the decór at La Tasca de Ventura. It is both rustic and elegant. I love the red brick walls and the muted lighting. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. The right atmosphere for delicious Spanish food.
Wait Time: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
Waiting time at this restaurant is just right. Our server was prompt in giving us the menu and as prompt in taking our orders. Carlos, was also very helpful in assisting us make the best choice to have for merienda. All the personnel were involved in making sure we have a good experience. They were very patient with us, 7 adults, who barraged them with questions!
Quantity and Quality of Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
Oh, we loved the food here! I can’t stop recommending the Jamón de Buey. When you’re in Madrid, you definitely have to try it. It is obvious that the ingredients of the food we had were fresh and of good quality.
They don’t make their own bread, however, because we spotted Carlos sprinting to the bakery across the street to get more bread. Or maybe, they ran out. We did not really care because the main dishes were impressively delicious.
The menu at La Tasca de Ventura is reasonably priced, I think. We paid the same amount we would have paid were we back home dining at a restaurant. We went home satisfied and did not feel cheated. We loved it here so much that we came back for dinner a couple of hours after our merienda.
Type of Payment: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
The restaurant accepts cash, credit, and debit cards.
When you happen to be in Madrid, you may want to try La Tasca de Ventura to enjoy some delicious Spanish food.
