Free Friday: La Rambla, Barcelona

If one can resist the flower kiosks and souvenir stalls and shops, La Rambla can be a no cost experience.

One can simply take in the sights and sounds of locals and tourists as they go about their business in this tree-lined pedestrian mall.  We enjoyed walking in this central Barcelona street. The entrance of Mercat Sant Josep La Boqueria is on this street and we found Cuines Restaurant where we feasted on tapas and paella.

If you find yourself in Barcelona, check out La Rambla. You may find something you’ll love there.
