This was the souvenir that got away. It would have been the perfect souvenir. This crossbody is made in Spain. The materials used are leather and silk. It’s roomy with adjustable leather strap, zip and mobile pockets, and zip closure. It’s made by a Spanish designer, an Olalla Gambin brand. Although the painting on the bag is by Vienesse artist Gustav Klimt, when I first saw it, it looked like a Picasso work. Sorry, Gustav. I found out later through Google that it’s not easy getting this crossbody outside of Spain. They seem to be only available in Madrid and a few museums.
My eyes kept going to this bag at a souvenir store in Madrid, but the price was a deterrent. I stood gazing at it for the longest time mulling whether to get it or not. Until finally, my husband discouraged me from spending so much on just one item. So, I sighed and turned away. Now, my mind drifts every now and then to the souvenir that would have been perfect but got away.
