It’s Throwback Thursday and it happens to be Saint Patrick’s Day! Saint Patrick is Ireland’s foremost patron saint.

When I think of Ireland, I think of castles. They are everywhere in Ireland. One of these is Ross Castle in Killarney National Park in County Kerry.

It is a 15th century house and keep and is an ancestral home to an Irish clan, O’Donoghue. The castle is open to the public with guided tours.
