Free Friday: Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area

Another NO FEE place to visit in Georgia is Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area.

It’s near Atlanta and a popular attraction during the summer when visitors go tubing, boating, rafting, and canoeing.

Those with a Georgia fishing license may fish the whole year round.

Hubby and I stopped by the Visitor Center for information before taking a short walk by the river. I love being near a body of water. It was just the two of us there. I enjoyed the breeze brush my cheeks, the scent of lake water in my nostrils, and the  movement of the water as it flowed. The beauty of nature never fails to please.
