Throwback: At Shakespeare’s Garden

One of the most memorable moments I had on my and hubby’s trip to the United Kingdom in the Fall of 2013 was sitting at the garden of Shakespeare’s Birthplace while listening to actors perform lines from his plays or recite one of his sonnets.

I could have sat there all day listening to the actors. It brought memories when I was in high school and college listening to my teachers read to the class their chosen Shakespeare lines. Then, they made me and my classmates do the same.   It was fun!

I’m not a Shakespeare fanatic, but I do appreciate the value of his works. His words impart vivid images and emotions. It was such a lovely couple of hours I spent in Shakespeare’s garden. It’s a moment that I wish to be repeated.

Check out a video I took of the actors’ performance.
