I love shellfish in general, but I’m not sure how I feel about escargot. My grandma and mom had never been able to persuade me to try it (the local land snails in the Philippines, they’re escargot, right? 😁). When hubby ordered it as an appetizer on one of our dinners aboard ms Amsterdam, I expected his plate of escargot to come with their shells. But this was what it looked like.
The dish doesn’t look as intimidating as when they come with shells.
