TownePlace Suites Knoxville Cedar Bluffs, 205 Langley Place, Knoxville, Tennessee 37922
My Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
On hubby’s and my trip to the South last May, I found out that although hotels belong to the same brand, guests may expect noticeable differences in the type of service provided or its quality which I observed on a review of another hotel.
For a pet friendly hotel, TownePlace hotels are pretty good in maintaining suites spotlessly clean and pet hair free.
The TownePlace in Knoxville, Tennesse is no different. Our room was clean and had we not known it was a pet friendly hotel, we would not have suspected that the hotel welcomed pets.
The bathroom was small fitted with a bathtub which is standard with Marriott brands. There were the usual toiletries and hair dryer for guests to use.
There was a sitting area where the sofa bed was, a moveable desk which was an ideal working space. The in-room media included a television, radio, and complimentary wireless or wired high speed internet.
As to be expected in a TownePlace suite, there was a fully equipped kitchen, refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, dish cleaning supplies, silverware, pots, pans, serving dishes, dishes, and glasses.
The noticeable difference in service that I alluded to in the beginning of this post is the breakfast menu. Compared with the breakfast served in other TownePlace Suites hubby and I had stayed at, breakfast here is sorely lacking. There aren’t as many choices.
Because there was no place to sit and eat, breakfast here was ‘grab and go’. There was one table with four chairs where they served breakfast. This was a bit disappointing to me. But, at least breakfast was part of our stay.
I can’t help but compare my breakfast experience with another TownePlace that we stayed at in Tennessee. I enjoyed my breakfast experience there more.
