Sunday Review: Hyatt Regency, Greenwich CT

Hyatt Regency Greenwich, 1800 East Putnam Avenue, Old Greenwich Connecticut USA 06870

My Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

I am a fan of Hyatt Hotels. So far, I cannot recall a stay at a Hyatt brand hotel that disappointed.

Two weeks ago, hubby and I stayed at the Hyatt Regency Greenwich in Connecticut. We had stayed at this hotel in 2011, and we loved it. We equally loved our recent stay.

Why did we love our stay here? First of all, I liked that parking was free. We expected to pay $10 for overnight parking, but we were pleasantly surprised to find that it was complimentary during our stay.

Secondly, our room was spacious. There was plenty of room to move about without tripping into anything.

The bed was comfortable and had a clean fresh smell. A soft bed and fresh smelling linen contributed to a good night’s sleep.

The bathroom had plenty of space as well. Everything in it worked as they should. We did not find anything to complain about. Not that we intentionally look for things to complain about. We’re easy guests. 😉

Best of all, we loved the buffet breakfast. Hyatt Regency Greenwich provides plenty of choices for guests. From our room in the 4th floor, I had a good view of the egg station and a couple of the buffet stations.

Hubby and I were very satisfied with breakfast which was included with our stay.

For guests whose stay did not include breakfast, the hotel provides complimentary coffee. There were coffee stations in every floor near the elevators.

The efficiency, professionalism, and amiability of the staff from the front desk to Winfield’s Cafe need to be mentioned. They contributed greatly to our lovely stay at this hotel.

I feel that Hyatt Regency Greenwich takes steps in making their guests feel welcome and taken cared of. Hence, my 5⭐️ rating. I would love to stay here again.
