Throwback: Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, NV

Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, August 2006

Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area in Nevada is about 15 miles from Las Vegas. It is an attraction that draws over a million visitors each year. The red rock formations, sandstone peaks and walls make the area popular for hiking and rock climbing. Hubby and I visited in 2006. I wasn’t into blogging back then, so I missed plenty of opportunities to take photos of this beautiful place. Luckily, I was able to take this shot.
