Rainbow Bridge in Page, Arizona
A sacred place to connect with a higher power for Native Americans.
Nature has inspired many to worship and to connect with a higher being. Such is the case of the Rainbow Bridge in Page, Arizona. The natural rock formation shaped like a rainbow is huge and fills anyone who sees it with awe. Only Native Americans knew of its existence until two exploration parties discovered it in 1909. The natural arch which formed and existed for millions of years is a sacred place for Native Americans. They came to the Rainbow Bridge to worship and to connect with a higher power.

Great photos. I can believe it’s a sacred place. 🙂 I still haven’t written my travel post, but I wasn’t thinking about something like this, tho I have photos that could be used. I guess spirituality is too personal topic for me to write about. My initial thought were that travels connect people, but I plan to write about an event from the past/history connecting people.

Thank you. An event from the past connecting people sounds like a good idea.

I haven’t seen all the world, but Arizona will always remain one of the most incredible places I’ve ever seen. Unique, beautiful.

I agree. I have only seen a part of Arizona, but what I’ve seen of it is awe inspiring. I would like to see more of it.
