Sunday Review: Cafe Voi La, Tagaytay

Cafe Voi La Crosswinds Tagaytay
Tagaytay City, Philippines

My Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

Cafe Voila is an Asian fusion restaurant located in Tagaytay City, a popular tourist destination due to its cooler climate and beautiful scenery.

The decor is fabulously colorful so designed to whet the appetite, I’m sure.

Hubby’s childhood friends brought us here for an early birthday treat.

The food was delicious! I loved every single dish that was served. One of my favorites is the ‘roll plate’ which is a sampler of rolled appetizers from various East Asian countries.

Another is the seafood kare kare which is a Filipino stew flavored with ground nuts or peanut butter, onion, and garlic. It is colored with annatto and prepared with various vegetables. Kare kare is served with shrimp paste for added flavor. Cafe Voila’s seafood kare kare has squid, mussels, fish, and clams. It’s heaven to a seafood lover like me.

My drink was fresh buko juice or coconut water straight from the husk. It’s the best way to enjoy coconut water, unprocessed with no preservatives.

We enjoyed ourselves immensely at Cafe Voila. Wonderful people and good food make a good combination for making one’s day. 😊
