Sunday Review: Kyteler’s Inn, Ireland

Kyteler’s Inn
27 Kieran St, Kilkenny City
Ireland

My Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

Walking around in Kilkenny, my husband and I spotted this pub. It reminded me of shows set in Medieval times.

I later learned it was established in the 13th century! It was popular back then and is still making waves in the 21st century. Kyteler’s Inn received Bar of the Year Award for 2013 and 2014 in Kilkenny.

Here, visitors could enjoy local beers like Kilkenny and Smithwicks as well as the popular Irish beer Guinness and Irish lager called Harp.

The food servings were large. The soup and sandwiches were good and filling. I enjoyed the roast pork which was the special of the day.

Dining at Kyteler’s was a truly Irish experience.
