Series: Iceland’s Golden Circle

Tour Stop 2: Geysir

On this stop at Iceland’s Golden Circle, visitors are treated with a natural wonder that spouts boiling spring water up to 30 meters high. The famous Geysir, unfortunately, has been inactive for years. The geyser that awes visitors is Strokkur which erupts about every 10 minutes. Visitors patiently wait and erupt with glee as Strokkur spouts steaming water.

Could anything top such a beautiful natural show? One would not think so. That is, until one has seen the 3rd stop, Gullfoss.
