The Church At Cumberland Island

It looked small in the pictures I’ve seen in a magazine, but I didn’t expect it to be tiny!
This First African Baptist Church established in 1893 at Cumberland Island could seat at most twenty five people.

This is where John F. Kennedy Jr got married. Many have since got married in the small church. It’s location definitely offers privacy, intimacy, and romance. The logistics could be challenging as only three hundred people are allowed in the island per day, not to mention the church is miles away from the only inn on the island and the road is not paved. But, love can make a way!
