An Iberian Feast in New Jersey

Whenever you find yourself in New Jersey, you may be interested to stop by my favorite restaurant located in Newark’s Ironbound. Iberia Peninsula Restaurant serves Portuguese and Spanish food. And Dios Mio! La comida es deliciosa!! A family favorite is the Parrillhada, a seafood platter combination of calamari, clams, lobster, fish, shrimp, mussels, and scallops served with yellow rice.

Their sangria is not too strong on the alcohol which I prefer. So refreshing!
On this Iberia trip with hubby, sister-in-law, and his niece, in addition to the Parrillhada, I decided to order Chicken Marsala. Yum!
Hubby ordered the clam linguini. He loved it.
The servings are huge. A dish could feed three people. We were so full that we decided to share a slice of Triple Chocolate Mouse instead of ordering separate desserts. Mmmm…chocolate heaven!
We all went home satisfied with boxes to go. 😋
